Load Up with Veggies

Vegetables are perhaps one of the edibles that most people don’t want to eat. Personally, I am one of those who don’t what to eat it, but when I realized all the benefits that my body can get when I eat green leafy vegetables, I shifted gears and head towards eating some of it.

The adjustment period was hard, but it was manageable. Leafy vegetables are the hardest to muster it is usually associated with eating grasses. But this kind of vegetable is the best. If you have problems with the eliminated process, eating high-fiber vegetables is the natural solution to that. Leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinach, chard, etc. acts as the body “natural broom,” where it sweeps all those unwanted fats.

Once the digestion process ends, you will experience a healthy elimination process. Your stools are soft and formed; constipation is no longer your worry. Aside from this, you will be getting natural vitamins and minerals every time you consume a great amount of vegetables. It contains vitamins A, B, E, K, Iron, potassium and a lot more.

The only difficult part when you embrace eating vegetables is the beginning part, but once your taste buds adjust to the taste; you will appreciate it. For a start, try around one or two tablespoon and gradually increase it, until you can consume at least five and more tablespoons.

Weight Loss Diet – How to Do It?

There are so many things that you can do when you want to lose some extra pounds. The challenge, however, is your willingness to do it to accomplish your goal. For people whose weight is more 20% of his or her body mass index, the call for diet and lifestyle modification is imperative.

Moderate or Avoid White Carbo

You can basically start with changing the way you eat and exercise.  Starting off with the carbohydrates, if you can eliminate “white” carbo foods, like bread, cereal, rice, pasta, etc.; alternatively, moderate your intake on those foods that would be commendable. White carbohydrates when it is not properly burned or eliminated from the body can just add to your existing weight. On the other hand, if you’re into a fitness program, you can ask your trainer who much of these foods you can eat.

Drink Water

Instead of drinking regular soda, why don’t you drink lots of water? Drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses a day helps you eliminate all your impurities.  Likewise, hydrates your body, keeping your skin smooth and firmer. With water, you don’t have to worry about burning calories since it doesn’t contain any, unlike regular soda. Alternatively, you can drink zero-sugar soda as a substitute to regular soda.

Small and Frequent Feeding

Instead of eating three full meals a day, break it up to at least 5 or 6 meals. Once your body sense little food is being ingested it would speed up the metabolism. Making your food intake easier to break down, when this happens, right after the digestion process ends, all the nutrients will be distributed right away. There is a very little percentage that your intake will get stored. Your body will use it up.  When you do small feedings, make sure you have a complete meal, which consist of protein, fresh fruits and vegetables and non-“white” carbo such as brown rice.

Exercise

Least you forget to do exercises. Depending on your current weight, you need to burn as money calories as you can to get rid of the excess fat.  For a start, you do brisk walking daily for at least 30 minutes and to burn out fats. Alternatively, you can officially enroll in a fitness program for a more detailed work-out, based on your goal. We recommend exercises in the Fit Yummy Mummy program for this purpose.

Maintain a healthy Lifestyle

This includes eight hours of sleep, quit smoking if you are smoking cigarettes, moderate your alcohol intake or better yet, cut it off. These modifications can help you lose weight. It may not happen overnight, but aim for this lifestyle and eventually; you can achieve your goal.

I have to say that it’s not about the product itself. The product is still effective on toning and strengthening your stomach muscles. It’s the customer service, incorrect use of it and customers prejudice.

You can read the Flex Belt post to find out more on this subject, why people are complaining about the Flex Belt, and I confirm that it’s not that Flex Belt can’t get you a six-pack abs or firmer abdominal muscles, it’s due to other reasons.
